Well, it shouldn't make any problem as per the requirement. For college admission, Class 10th certificate is basically submitted as a Birth Certificate proof in case that the original Birth Certificate is lost or not found, class 10th marksheet is often considered the alternative.
In that case, you can use the original Birth Certificate as the required document instead of the 10th marksheet. I hope the spelling mistake isn't there too.

This would cause Mother's name to stay for ever in all the further education cards or certificates which would totally differ from the name on birth Certificate. Now you can apply for name change in all other official documents by providing copies of Affidavit, newspaper ads and Gazette Notification as proof of name change. It may take a month to change name. Gazette allows you to change your name. An affidavit duly signed by the applicant and attested by Judicial Magistrate/Notary. Original newspaper in which name change ad is given is required for the process. You can do this online on the official site adding with your state. Or you can visit your nearby Gazette office.
