Not exactly but to get seat in Govt college of any state the domicile is mandatory to submit, if it is not there then you can only get admission in private colleges. And what all documents you have to submit depends on the state/college criteria as there are many states like Maharashtra which provide the Govt seats if you dont have the domicile of Maharashtra but you have done your schooling from there. So it would be better if you could share which particular state you are asking for accordingly I would be helping you with the admission criteria. Hope this helps!!!!
