Is 350 marks enough to get a government medical seat?
Dear Mushraf, you can try for a Government College through All India Quota and State Quota. You can attend the State Counselling of the State you hold the domicile of and the rest of the States you can appear for All India Counselling. Now your Category also plays a role in securing a seat. Your score and Category determine your rank in the merit list. Cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now to be honest even if you have reservation, 350 is a less score for a seat in any GMC. If you can help us with the State and Category you belong to, we can help you with an estimated score that can help you secure a seat in a GMC.
hello aspirant,
cut off marks changes every year and there is no specific marks for securing a seat in medical college. and remember that 85% of seats in every govenment medical colleges is reserve for domicile candidates. so if you want to admission in any other medical college outside of your state you need to fight in 15% all india seat quota, where cutoff is really very high. as per last year cutoff in many colleges 350 marks may be enough for dental seats or BAMS seat. but securing mbbs is not possible.
