See you have to score upto minimum 70 percent in the NEET examination so as to get into any government medical college across the country by appearing from the NEET examination 60 percent as such can be said to be a good score but it's not relevant to say it to be as sufficient so just try to score good in the NEET examination.
hi sayan, it all depends on what category you belong to and what reservation you have, whether you have state quota or not , but i would suggest that aimm for 560 plus its high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it.NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims,and jipmer.The exam pattern is as follows:-
physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks
chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks

IF you are talking about 60% in 12th boards, then it is quite enough to make you eligible to appear for the NEET. You need to have 50% minimum marks in 12th boards which is the basis eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority.
But if you are talking about 60% in NEET, then I must say that you have to raise your limit and have to score atleast 550+ marks to get a MBBS seat in government medical college.

NEET - UR - 50% (PCB), OBC/SC/ST- 40%, PWD- 45%
AIIMS - 60% aggregate in PCBE, 50% - SC/ST/OPH
JIPMER - 50% aggregate in PCBE,40% - SC/ST/OBC
