Is a BPT graduate from India eligible for Med School in Canada as well as the U. S. A?

Dear Manmeet, Countries like Canada and the US require a Bachelor's degree as a pre requisite to pursue Medicine in their countries. And an alternate to that is MCAT exam. MCAT is a computerised exam conducted by American Association of Medical Colleges to get into a medical school abroad in countries like US, Canada and Australia. You are eligible to take this exam if you intend to attend a health professional school that includes Allopathic, Osteopathic, Podiatric and Veterinary Medicine. BPT is also considered eligible for this exam. However do drop a mail tomcat@aamc.orgexplaining the reason why you want to take the exam. MCAT tests your understanding in fundamentals of Chemistry, Psychology, Sociology, Physics and Chemistry along with problem solving and critical thinking skills. So though these are easy to understand and read, taking few extra classes can boost your score.
