A 3-year undergraduate degree in computer applications is called a "Bachelor in Computer Application" (BCA). Candidates have the option of enrolling in a normal BCA programme or choosing BCA distance learning. A minimum of 50% overall in the 10+2 test is required to be eligible to apply for BCA admission in 2022.

Based on a merit list created using students' 10+2 test scores, top BCA colleges shortlist the applicants. For admission, several colleges hold state- or university-level entrance tests.
