is an integrated law course better than 3year llb?
There are two types of Law courses- 5 year integrated law courses as well as 3 year LLB courses. 5 year integrated law course are for those who wish to take admission in law after class 12th Directly. The combine a graduation degree like BA, BCOM etc with Law like BA LLB, BCOM LLB etc. But if you have completed a graduation degree already and now want to pursue law, a 3 year law degree is more suitable. It will help you save 2 years. Doing graduation again will only result in wasting 2 years. So 3 year law is more suitable as you've done graduation already. There is not much difference. You can't call any course better or worse. The only difference in this term are the colleges offered. Doing a 3 year LLb from a top college would be equally beneficial for you.
Here is a list of top law entrances for 3 year LLB course
- DU LLB - Delhi University
MH CET- GLC mumbai, ILS Pune and other colleges in Maharashtra
SLAT- Symbiosis Law school
PU LLB- Panjab University, Chandigarh
LSAT- Jindal global Law school, IIT Kharagpur and other private law colleges
BHU LLB- Banaras Hindu University
BVP LLB- Bharatiya Vidyapeeth
TS LAWCET Etc
Best of luck!
Hello Ma'am. The LLB course is now available in two formats - 5-year integrated LLB course for Class 12 passouts and a 3-year LLB course for graduates of any stream. Those who miss the bus after Class 12 still have an opportunity to study law after graduation. So, in my opinion, you should go for an integrated course for more knowledge and to be more better at work.
