Hi
There are many who just get 50% in their class 12th board examination but qualify Neet examination and not only qualify get in medical college as well. I personally don't know anyone, but just because I don't know doesn't mean that the persons with 50% in their 12th board examination and who have qualified Neet don't exist.
But yes I know someone who had scored only 65% in his 12th board examination but today he is a successful surgeon. Dr Rana Pratap is a surgeon and assistant professor in Rims, Ranchi .He had scored only 65% in 12th , he qualified medical entrance examination back then and got a Government Medical College , he didn't the stop here ,he qualified PG and after Pg later on pursued MCH which is a Super Speciality course in the field of surgery.
So, marks obtained by you in class 12th board examination is not a measure of your capability and it all depends upon the amount of effort you put in for your preparation so even if you have got only 50% in 12th but if you prepare for Neet examination with determination and concentration you can definitely qualify Neet and make it to a Government Medical College.
Also, am hoping that you have got at least 50% in aggregate of your PCB i. e. physics chemistry biology or biotechnology in your 12th board if you belong to general category or at least 40% in aggregate to PCB if you belong to OBC SC or St category because this is the minimum percentage requirement in PCB to be eligible for Neet examination. And you should also have studied English and passed it in your 12th.
To prepare well for neet follow the below mentioned tips :-
*Go well through ncert:- At least around 90-95% questions in neet are based on the concepts from ncert , go through solved examples and unsolved questions in the ncert , in biology study all the diagrams also , as diagram based questions are also there , so you need to master NCERT
*make a routine or timetable and religiously follow it :- Give at least around 8 hours to studies , your routine should revolve around 3 things i.e first study, then practice and finally revise
•PHYSICS is the toughest part for most of the medical aspirants as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with ,so keep at least 3 hours each day for physics
•In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2.5 hours to Chemistry
•In biology you have to read, learn and revise again and again, so keep around 2.5 hours for Biology.
*After finishing each chapter you should practice questions, you should practise at least 80 to 100 numericals / mcqs in Each chapter
*You can make short notes for quick revision of important concepts and formulas , keep revising your concepts at regular intervals, like once in a week or 15 days .
* Plan your studies, and set daily, weekly and monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.
