Firstly make clear with your question. What two streams are you talking about. B.tech and bio tech or btec and bio tech...
If you are talking about Btec then it stands for business and technology educational council.
If you are talking about B.tech, it stands for bachelor of technology.
Here both the course have different scopes, b.tech is for engineering field and Btec is for business field. And both the courses are different from biotech. Biotechnology is a biological field focusing on nature and it's attachments

Btec stands for bachelor of technology which is a degree just like other degrees such as BA or BCA or BCom.
Biotech is a different stream which mainly deals with engineering aspects of biology and it is studied as an branch of engineering institutes which offer BTech in biotechnology.
