Yes, NCERT books for each subject is important because questions asked in the question papers comes from ncert books only few questions comes from outsides.

NCERT is considered as the best book for chemistry as most of the students choose ncert.Neet students generally prefer ncert for chemistry as everything is given it only.So, i suggest you should not opt too many books and just switch to ncert.
