Hello

There may be following things

.Campus Placement Getting a job in college from college to corporate

2.if your college couldn't give you a placement join one of any coaching centre and get a job on your own

3.GATE: there are two advantages you get if you appear for GATE

1. you can purse MTECH in IIT or NIT if you missed it in your Btech

2. There are many central Govt Jobs to which GATE Is Qualifying Exam

4.MBA or Any equivalent PG you are eligible to Do MBA and Lot of Courses after B tech

5.Govt Job: Many of engineering students Sit For SSC civilis, Army, navy services and IBPS etc Exams With engineering as background There more scope chance of Getting a govt For A engineering Guy in these Competitive Exams

6. Abroad Education: you could Go abroad and pursue master and research level programs after engineering

7. You could just start your company and become an entrepreneur to find an investor and turn your project into Product.

9. Start your own business

There lot of options which are opened after engineering but you just figure out your self what to do on the very first day of your college keep working on it.

Engineering is a vast field and you can not just ask a general question on Engineering. There are a no. Of branches there in Engineering and each Branch is having their own scope and importance. If you talk about Mechanical then this is known as an evergreen Branch and will have always a scope in future in India. There are branches like Civil, electrical, Electronics and communication etc. Each Branch is having scope if you do well in academics and also improving your skills in those four years.Rest depends upon you and there will always be scope for good engineers in India and abroad.

Hope this helps.

Aerospace engineering is having less scope in India and more abroad. But,if you do well here and study in some of the best Institute of India like IITs or some best private university then you will surely get a good job and bright future.
