is iiit Kalyani good college???

Since I'm currently studying in IIIT Kalyani, I'm in the best position to answer this question.

Yes, it is a good college, Not very well developed though. But yes, it is developing at a good pace since our Mentor is IIT-KGP. Nowadays our college is going on in Webel IT park which is fully Air Conditioned and The construction of permanent campus is going on besides it. We have good facilities like AC classrooms with Projectors And teachers can also teach by using mic. We have got a nice canteen and Excellent Library consisting more than sufficient books. We have 3 Computer Labs and a Electronics Lab where one can go any time to learn new things. Hostel life is also fine.

Since it is an IT based institute, we have an outstanding coding culture developing here as you can see on codechef.com. Students are participating in many workshops. There are also coding competition for juniors. We have good faculties and helpful seniors. Sports facilities are also growing day by day. Till next year we will have our own sports ground. We are making a good culture and our benchmark is IIIT-H.

You are always welcome to our college if you can't get into top NITs/IIITs or IITs and are really passionate about Computer Science.
