Dear Ravi, B.Tech is a professional degree course whereas the degrees like B.Sc, B.A, etc are the Degree courses in Arts, Science, so on and so forth. While B.Tech is into Technology and Research the other degrees are more of into Reason, Observation, logic, analysis, Imagination, creativity and experimentation among many others. And the scope and exposure varies with each one of them. Both of them are considered a Bachelor's degree with the basic eligibility for admission into these courses is 10+2. But the paths they take you post the completion of the respective courses are way different. You become an Engineer post your B.Tech and you become a graduate post your B.Sc.
Hello, Ravi
There is nothing much difference between the Degree and Btech both are called as graduation.
The basic difference is the degree course is of 3 years where as the Btech is of 4 years, the degree has more theoritical part compared to the btech, btech has technical part. The exam pattern is also different for degree and btech. Both the degree and btech have equal opportunity in future. And degree is considerd as the knowledge oriented program and btech is considerd as rhe skill and technology oriented program.
Thank you..
