Hello friend, u see even in Nits, the average placement ranges from 6 to 7 lpa.you can pursue gate exam if u want to study but doing mba from a decent institute like IIMS or XIMB after btech can lead to a avg placement of 12 to 15 lpa

Hello, In this matter I would like to say that at first you need to explore the career options before you decide what you want to do. You need to know the salary offered after completing the course. However, having B.Tech degree is very great as nowadys its the world of technology and adding postgraduation degree will give more value to your education level. In today's world, there is nothing better than a blend of technical and management skills. So, I think its a great choice of doing MBA after Btech.  Most of the global brands prefer to hire professionals with technical and management background.

Hello Sai Santosh ,

Yes, but take it up only if your interested to study MBA . MBA in operations or HR would be a good choice after B.Tech as you  would have technical knowledge along with your MBA .

The answer to this question can not be simply yes, it depends on what of factors therefore instead of simply saying yes or no I will tell you what are the opportunities for you after doing MBA and what are the other options if you don't go for MBA.

Nowadays just like Engineering management also become very popular and people when to do management after doing BTech if they feel that engineering is not for them but the question is whether are you suitable for MBAthere is no doubt that there is a lot of career opportunities after you go for MBA but it also depends on the college from which you have done your MBAbecause just like engineering there are many MBA colleges out there many provide distance MBA courses also but you should analyse what are the suitable courses for you in terms of colleges and specialisation which you pursue in MBA.

If you go for MBA from map prestigious colleges then it is the best case because you will get jobs and good career growth but just like doing it for the sake of degree then it won't be much beneficial.

If you don't go for MBA then there are other options which includes you can appear for gate and go for PSU jobs you can appear for IES although I don't know your  engineering background but assuming you are from core branch.and if not If You are from My Computer Science and Engineering or electrical branch then you can easily get a job but if job doesn't matter to you in different only interested in MBA then no doubt you should pursue but you should keep in mind that first you should try better colleges for MBA first you can also take a drop for the preparation but you should not end up by joining any college random.
