is it necessary to be filling the extra 50 marks English paper while filling CET exam and will I be able to teach English subjects as I have done English literature as a subject in my graduation wirh compulsory English too

Hi,

You didn't mentioned the name of exam for which you are applying.

However from your question  as you are talking about teaching English  so I think you are talking about B.Ed CET. In B.Ed CET there is an additional paper of English. This is not compulsory to all. Those candidate who want to teach English in future and want to take English language as subject in the B.Ed has to give this exam.

So if you want to take English as a subject you have to select English paper while filling B.Ed CET form. Otherwise it is not compulsory.
