Hi Aspirant! The qualifying education for NDA is class 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics. Therefore, a student of commere or arts can not apply for NDA as the basic academic eligibility criteria is not fulfilled.

I hope this information has helped you. In case of any queries, please mention in the comment section. Thank you!

Hey,

NDA or National Defence Academy is the joint services academy of the Indian Armed forces which trains cadets of three distinct services -the Army, the Navy and the Air force. To join in NDA candidates have to get through the entrance exam conducted by UPSC.

For Indian Army wing,a candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examfrom any recognised board.

For Air Force and Indian Navy,a candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with PHYSICS and MATHEMATICS  as compulsory subjects.

Therefore,a student of Commerce and Arts is eligible for only Indian Army Wing of NDA.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
