Hello Arun!
Admission into National Institue of Technology is done via JEE Mains. The marks and rank secured by the candidates determine which campus (of all the 31 NITs across India) and which stream they can take. JEE Advanced is not required for admission into NITs. It is only required for admission into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Hey Arun,
There is no such condition that you will have to give the JEE Advanced examination to get the NIT. You can get it by simply giving the JEE Mains examination. If you want to get an IIT then you will have to give the JEE Advanced examination, it is mandatory then.
Good luck !
