Hi,
Earlier when NEET was not mandatory, during those times private colleges used to take a huge amount of donation fees along with the college fees. But from when the NEET has become compulsory for admission and the strict checking by MCI it no longer exist.
Private colleges may charge you some other fees like university fees and all but they give you receipt of it along with it.
