Yeah definitely you can, there is not any law granted by the JOSAA that you can only able to crack if you are a student from any coaching institute.
If your concepts and logic are clear then you don't need to go for any coaching, so better try to thorough with your concepts and solve many number of numericals from various books such that your concepts will be brushed up. Solve previous 10 years JEE mains and Advance papers which will help you to understand the whole scenario of IIT-JEE. And lastly believe in your's preparation will make you to clear both JEE Mains and Advance.
