As for the Scope of women in Mechanical Engineering fields in lndia, I must say that it looks very bright. Automation is catching on and the days of hard labor are slowly being replaced. Right now, it is a very male dominated industry but the trend is changing. The role of women is being taken very seriously and I personally feel it’s a very good thing.

You can go for Geeta University as it is the best University in Haryana and Delhi /NCR.

GU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lecturers or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can.

University focuses on quality education a lot and all the professors of GU are highly qualified and knowledgeable , University  also focuses on practical knowledge a lot and students of GU has to go through various such practical tasks and projects which makes it very easy to understand the concepts and develop a deep knowledge of the subjects.

G Abhinandana,

There's no hard and fast rule that girls cant opt for mechanical engineering. It is good for girls as well.

Mechanical engineering is one of the core branches. And if you get core mechanical engineering job then you are gonna live your life like a queen.

And one more thing,  core companies do give some preference to girls over boys with same skill set.

If you are girl with good mechanical engineering knowledge and if you good personality and communication skills then getting a job of  above 8 lacs is going to be too easy for you.

And now some specialisation of mechanical engineering is also there which don't include that much of physical labor like mechatronics .

So I think girls shouldn't hesitate in joining mechanical branch.

Hi Abinandhana, hope you are doing well, I used to have the same doubt two years back, but let me tell you if you are really interested in mechanical field just go with it don't be in dilemma like I am a girl, always follow your heart. If you are choosing it as an option, I suggest you don't go for it. I have seen many girls really enjoying their mechanical field and are far ahead when compared with boys. The decision is left to you now, pick up wisely.

I think it helps you!!!

Keep Smiling:)

Wish you good luck!:)
