Is Msc nursing is equivalent to MBBS ?
No MSc nursing is not equivalent to MBBS. MSc nursing is related to the field of nursing, while MBBS is related to the field of surgery.
Hi aspirant,
No ! BOTH ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER !
- M.Sc. Nursing, is a postgraduate level course. In this course, you will learn Nursing and Applied Sciences.
- The duration of M.Sc. Nursing is for two years.
- In the first year, you study about the Advanced Nursing subjects, Clinical Nursing, Nursing Education, etc
- In the second year, you will learn Management and can work on your research thesis.
- Here you get a prefix as a NURSE.
While MBBS is an Undergraduate course. Here you learn subjects like
- Anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, surgery, etc
- By completion of this course, you get the prefix as a DOCTOR
- Here you study medicine and surgery after the postgraduate course of MD / MS.
- You can do specialization in nephrology, cardiology, gynecology, neurology etc.
Both these studies have some similarities but are entirely different from one another. The work is also entirely different. Hence these are not equal but have their own importance in the society.
Hope that helps.
