NIT Raipur is a public technical and research institute that was founded in 1956 with two engineering disciplines – Metallurgy and Mining. It is an institute of National importance which was declared an NIT on 1st December 2005. The institute offers 5-year, 4-year and 2-year programs, such as B.Tech, B.Arch. , M.Tech and MCA. It also offers doctoral degrees in the field of Science, Mathematica and Technology. NIT Raipur is committed to developing technical education by preparing experienced graduates in the field of engineering and technology.
