You want to crack JEE in one year, that means either you are a dropper. I can tell you most of the mistakes that JEE aspirants mostly commit so that you may not repeat them. I am also going to give you certain tips for the examinations and books.

  1. Since you have only one year left, you will have a lot of pressure. You need to handle that pressure. Droppers will have a feeling of Do or Die situation but please don’t take that much pressure. Remember JEE isn’t the end. Please think in this way to reduce the pressure.
  2. You must not think that there is a lot of time. You have to cover the entire 2-year syllabus in just 8–9 months and after that start the revision and start solving the mock papers. This is a mistake that most of the aspirants do. If you are still in school, bunk as many classes as you can and give that time towards your JEE preparation. Boards can be handled with ease if you have good JEE Preparation.
  3. Take small breaks about 10–15 minutes after every study session of 2–3 hours(as per your capability). This will release a lot of pressure.
  • Make a time-table. Try to follow at least 80% of it because many of us create a timetable and cannot follow even 60%. If you can follow 100% of the timetable it is very good.

Set your weekly targets because daily targets are very difficult to achieve and most of us cannot achieve them.

Make notes in written, use the walls of your room for sticking notes of the topics that are difficult to memorize like Inorganic Chemistry Reactions, Exceptions in Chemistry and what you think is difficult for you. These notes will help you a lot during revision at the end.

If you are enrolled in a coaching institute, don’t depend on the teachers too much because you have to give JEE not them.

Use less study material. More the study material more the confusion. Use the recommended books along with some video lectures. Since there is very less time left, you can opt for video lectures for covering the topics that you are weak in. At the end, I will tell how to choose the right lecture.

You will also sometimes feel that you have scored less in Mock and Coaching Tests but don’t worry, try your best to improve your score every time. Always try too hard after a bad mock test.

good luck...

Clearly to cover a syllabus is not at all an easy task, it requires dedication and hard work put all your effort and focus, but don’t worry u can of course do it.

If you are a fresher than one year is somewhat difficult but not impossible and if you are a repeater than there is no need to panic and grieve upon the wasted time. It is about time you buckle up and start your preparation in a way that is quick, efficient and proper.one thing that you should keep in mind that as you have just one year that means that you are getting half the time of many students, but nothing to get disappointed of. plan your way according to it and never look on others of what they are doing, it’s very important as different people have different way of study and brain set. So keep this in mind. As we have just one year so before starting do analysis that which chapters are the most important that means which had contained maximum % of questions in past 5 years of JEE especially for advance.

From there you will get idea of which chapters to focus on so pay special attention on the rather than on all. Practice these chapters more than other chapters. Plan your everyday work, everyday you should have a goal to achieve it and don’t sleep without completing it at any cost. Planning is the most important thing in this short time span. Moreover do not follow too many books as you will not be able to finish anyone and you will start feeling stressed rather follow only one book and try to complete it along with year wise question bank.

SOME OF THINGS THAT U NEED TO TAKE CARE ARE:

  • The first and foremost thing is you need to be internally motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Start your day with a clear and achievable goal in your mind, plan accordingly and implement your plan religiously. We need a sense of discipline to stick to our plans and to keep up with them.
  • For someone preparing from zero level, it can be daunting to look at some of the books like H.C.Verma or Irodov. Do not brainstorm with those books.
  • We need simple and precise books that cover the basics well. I think no other book can deliver it in spades than NCERT. These books are simple with concise definitions and simple examples.
  • Make sure to spend an adequate amount of time to every subject.
  • Choose what you have to read and what not and accordingly make a list and collect those sources in the very beginning.
  • Do not postpone your work.
  • Learn to say no and make your priorities clear.
  • If you are not clear on a particular concept or a question, do not let it go.
  • Analyse your weakness and strength in P C M . now accordingly divide your time and try strengthening your strong topics in PCM as much as you can .
  • You can also refer to doubt clearing video lectures which enables you to get your doubts cleared by IITians
  • Solve at least 40–80 numerical problems daily ,set time limits for question (Practice to improve speed on problem-solving),start with the difficult areas first. (Prepare brief notes on the hardest sections) and analyze your mistake. (Find the Points that you often face difficulty with and which show you down)

Generally there are two ways to find practice problems and solutions: a good coaching course, books or video lectures on all three subjects. (And youtube is not for practice and practice is very important for any type of exam.) Video lectures is a good way for preparation.video lecture help you in more ways than you can imagine hence you can trust them to help you achieve success. the videos are very short and are aimed at helping you increase your speed while solving some of the tricky problems of PCM. Some time spent watching these videos can motivate you to try and find smarter approaches to solving JEE problems.
