Is petroleum engineering in JNTU, kakinada is better to study?Can we go for software jobs if we study petroleum engineering?

Hi,
Perteoleum Engineering is an excellent option to go for if interested in the field. JNTU Kakinada has a great infrastructure, experienced faculty and lots of other opportunities. The petroleum engineering department is the youngest and the curriculum is interesting. Placements are fine and may get better in coming years due to it's location in the KG Basin. IT companies do visit and you can sit for software jobs provided you should be good at coding and logics.
