You are going to get the amount of leave that is approved by the government. The maternity leave is of 180day and you'll get the salary equal to what you were getting just before they leave. Govt also provide child care leaves which are of duration 2years for the care of minor children. As a government employee, you can avail the child care leave any time during your service period for your minor child.
