Is the any other way for getting International Fame other than Beauty Paegents (as many Medical students participate in them for fame)?
Your question really stood out to me when I was browsing the feed.
I understand your concern but let me tell you that "fame" is not important in the long run.
If it is success you are talking about, then I must say that it is better to be a master of your trade than a Jack of all trades. As you have chosen MBBS, be the best doctor you can be in your field. I am not saying that you are not free to pursue anything new. You can divert yourself to whichever field that interests you.
If an individual is interested in a certain field, he will excel no matter what. I recently saw an interview of a mechanic who has developed a gel that resists the tyres from puncturing. He may not be highly educated but his interest and hard work is what matters. Just look at where he stands, what he has achieved.
It all depends on how you look at it.
There are presently no olympiads at college level subjects that would be useful for us except for Elsevier's Basic Sciences Olympiad.
Apart from this, take up any interesting field that you feel requires progress and give it a go.
Looking forward to seeing a famous you, all the best!
Hope this helps.
There are many opting to give IAS exams after their Med school and have entered civil services

The one who cleared the exam said that the competitiveness in medical field gave her confidence to take up Civil service exams
Follow your passion, without giving up ur studies, it will give a whole new perspective to your passion. Good luck
Perfect your craft, whatever that may be. And fame shall touch your feet. It's not the matter of time or years, in stead it the effort you put in. Winning a beauty pageant wasn't easy either, working out at gym is hard-work.
Similarly, to be a great doctor is twice thrice time the hard work. But once you have reached the goal, then you might as well nourish it.
Hardwork is the key to glory, no work no glory. Let that be anything. Your craft signified your interest. You cannot get into something and try to give your hundred percent if that doesn't interest you.
Goodluck.
Your question really drew my attention.
According to me, your goal should not be International fame but bits of progress in whichever field of your interest.
I have seen medical students as professional guitarists, movie script writers, marathon podium finishers , fashion show stoppers , medical quiz winners , research exchange students, and the list would go on and on.
Best is to find whatever that interests you and run after it with all your heart.

U just need to be perfect and best in what u do..
This is a very interesting question! In the end, it all boils down to your interest. If you really want fame, you can excell in any field of your choosing, not only pageants.
Several doctors choose to take up Writing and even Acting. You could pursue any other field as well. I would also like to counsel you that if you want you an always choose to give up Medicine if it is not your passion. It is always better to do what you love.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any further queries.
