is there any bond for admission to MBBS
Hello aspirant!
Different medical colleges offer different type of bonds. Here are the most common bonds offered.
Many colleges demand no bond at all.
- Money bond- You need to pay a certain amout of money(usually between 3-10 lakhs) if you leave the MBBS course anywhere in between.
- Service providing bond- You need to compulsorily provide service in the rural area after graduation for certain years (3–7 yrs generally ) and you won't be able to pursue PG till then. In case you choose to give up service, you need to pay an ammount equivalent to the bond.
- Indemnity Bond saying that immediately after MBBS course and following internship in the same hospital, you will have to work in a hospital of state govt. in any rural location of the same state allotted by govt. for 1 year.
- Undertaking Bond against ragging in which u show say that you'll not indulge in any behaviour or act which can come under definition of ragging and if u see anyone doing the above said, you'll report to the authorities in charge.
- These are some common bonds given by the medical colleges at the time of admission.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thank you
