Yes there are some marks to get direct admission based on that university. Some university demand all total 45% or some univ demand more than that.So you have to pass that min criterion.

Best of luck.

There is two type of eligibility criteria for taking admission in IIT and NIT. You will have to be in either any one of them. One is that you are in top 20 percentile of your board and second is you have scored above 75% from any board. If you are not lying in any one of them you can't take admission in IIT and NIT. But still you can appear in the exam, and if you score well you will have many good college options.

All the very best and good luck.

As MHRD introduce Jee Mains exams which is for all the college for entrance. This is single exam which is accepted by most of the colleges and universities.

If you are asking about the engineering, then I have answer for you

If you want to join any government college in India then giving JEE MAIN is compulsory for you but if you are talking about the top private college in India, they take their own exam for getting admission in their college but if you get good marks in JEE MAINS then some of the private college give you some scholarship.

You can get admission on the basis of your 12th marks in BITS only when you have top your state or your board

In order to get admission in NITs and IITs you have to give JEE exam. For getting into government college, you have to give state entrance exams such as UPTU.

If you want to get admission in some private university or private college, you can get direct admission in them such as Manipal university, VIT etc. .

Thank you.

No direct admission is not possible, you have to give Jee main to get into government and private colleges. Some colleges give admission based on their exam scores, example say BITS.

Respected mam,

It is compulsory to give JEE mains examination to get admission in good government as well as private colleges in india.through JEE mains examination you can get admission in IIT and NIT as well as government colleges after qualifying the examination but there are many private colleges who takes their own examination. For example:- manipal university,s.r.m university, etc are those who takes their own examination

Even the level of examination is also not so tough,so you can go for that and there are many who takes direct admission on 12th basis.

Thank You

There is no as such criteria for admission in Engineering colleges but admission can be taken in other bachelor courses. There is a lot of courses available for science students who want to continue their career in the research-oriented field rather than Engineering Field. For Engineering students have to give Joint Entrance Examination(JEE).
