Scope after B.Tech Computer Science:
There are lots of opportunities for B.Tech CSE students in the market or at anywhere in today’s this fast pace. IT sector providing best placement at all over the world and India also provide very best IT sector jobs with good salary package. Many companies/organizations are present here for select Students, that’s means if you don’t have interest to study higher and want to do job after B.Tech CSC then IT sector is the best for you.
It is very famous line and providing lots of scopes for their students. IT companies such as, IBM, ORACLE, NOKIA, RELIANCE INFOTECH etc.
You may choose one of the following postgraduate programs to start your career in the interested fields.
M.Tech / M.S in IITs: It is the best option who seeks for good career in the computer science field. These two programmes are offered by IISc, almost all IITs, and only M.Tech offered in NITs. After the completion of M.Tech/ M.S, you may apply to any interested organizations for jobs or research work. It is easy to get job or Ph.D after these two programmes. M.Tech is 2 years programme, and M.S is 3 years programme. Some of IITs also provides M.Tech 3 years programme.
Direct Ph.D : This programme is recommended for those people who are interested in research. Here you may be required to work for 2 years of course work and minimum 3 years of research work to complete the Ph.D programme. Total it takes minimum 5 years to complete the programme.
Dual Degree (M.Tech + Ph.D): It is also similar to Ph.D, only the difference is that you will get both degrees including M.Tech and Ph.D.
M.B.A: This programme is good for the candidates who are interested in management courses. In India, IIMs provide good opportunities for M.B.A and also various private universities provides good opportunities after M.B.A.
The entrance examinations that allows you to take admission in the post graduate programmes: GATE, CAT, GRE, TOEFL, PGEE, GMAT, TIFR etc.
