For UG Courses-
A Student who has scored 50% or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).

Yes, you are eligible for the scholarship in category-1 according to your percentage. But it's not necessary that either of the colleges provide it at the time of joining. For example, Thapar provides scholarship after first semester if you score a minimum 8.5SGPA along with minimum 95% aggregate marks, irrespective of the stream, on the basis of JEE score in first year.
