NIT Andhra Pradesh is one of the apex institution of engineering and higher studies in the state.

It has a total of 480 seats. Biotechnology, chemical engineering  and metallurgical and materials engineering have an intake capacity of 30 seats. While civil engineering and mechanical engineering have 60 seats. Computer science and electrical engineering has 90 seats.

• The college offers 100 percentage tuition fee waiver for sc/st students
• One may also have full remission of tuition fees if their family income is less than 1lakh per annum.
