Is there is a great loss in repeating for 1 year for competitive exam after class12 ?

If you have a very bad rank then it is generally good to take a drop if you have a little willpower to work for one more year.

The preparation of the competitive exams should be done simultaneously with the academics in standard 12th. Repeating an year after class 12 may lead the candidates to lose their patience and continuity of studying. In this case candidates must try not to repeat an year after their 12th and proceed with some other course of their choice. They may continue their preparation along with the course they have chosen and appear for the competitive exam for the next year.

Most of the times it is advisable not to repeat a year for competitions.its a great waste of time.
- Only people who have to just improve their ranks in order to get admission in a much better institute,they repeat the year rarely.
