is university of lucknow is good for b.tech ???
The below is a review by a student.
I was student of Lucknow University from 2011 to 2014 .
I will give you overview about LU old campus or main campus.
My course was B.A.( Hons) English, Economics and Political science as subsidiary subjects
I lived in Subhash Hostel & AND Hostel
I got 5 notices from proctorial board for misconduct .
I suspended two times first when I was in first year and second when I was in 3rd year.
One time my hostel room was also locked by proctorial Board .
I got 61%in my B.A.( Hons ) English and successfully completed my graduation .
Here I see myself fully eligible to give you overview about LU.
- Teaching - It's depends department to department and techer to teacher … every department has good and bad both types of teacher … generally if you take class regularly you will get more than those students who are pessimistic about teachers in university believe me taking regural classes will help you getting marks.
- Games- National University games and playing cricket for UP state team is very difficult if you are a college student anywhere in UP but if you are a student of LU than you have a slight visible edge over all other students . You will get comparatively easily chance to play in both games but remember make good relation with sports authority in LU.
- Discipline- it is not very important for day scholars but when you decided to live in hostel remember never mess directly with proctorial board because they will not tell anything to you because you are hosteler but when you will pass out than you need to lick their ass for character certificate.
- Girls- Generally girls have to listen some vulgar comment from students in Arts faculty but I never see any physical harassment.
- Administrator- most of the late and unresponsive.
- Hostel- cheapest place to live in Lucknow .
- Building- very good in the term of infrastructure but bad in term of menitenence .
-
Overall- it's totally depends on you which type of life style you choose to live in university.
Hope it helps!
