Hello aspirant,
IIITA is known for BTech. MTech students don't get good offers at IIITA. Most of the companies at IIITA don't allow MTech students to sit for the interviews. Microsoft, Amazon, Hashedin, Morgan Stanley didn't allow MTech students to sit for the interviews this year. That's the reason IIITA doesn't make the placement stats open branch wise.
For MTech, prefer NIT Nagpur. For BTech, IIITA is awesome. Here are the stats of MTech placements of VNIT Nagpur. These are the stats for this year 2016–2017 placement session.
MTech CSE strength: 20 students
No of students Placed : 19 students
Company - No of students selected - package in lakhs per annum
Amazon - 2 (27 lpa)
Directi - 1 (7.82 lpa)
DE Shaw - 1 (8.2 lpa)
Zomato - 1 (13 lpa)
Samsung R&D - 6 (8 lpa)
Mu Sigma - 3 (6.5 lpa)
Oracle India - 1 (6.2 lpa)
Microsoft - 0 (16 lpa)
Adobe - 1 (12 lpa)
TCS - 2 (3.85 lpa)
Infosys - 1 (3.5 lpa)
Note: MTech IT, Intelligent systems is really good at IIITA. If you are getting intelligent systems at IIITA, go for IIIT Allahabad. You will have the chance to sit in all companies interviews. If you don't get intelligent systems, go for NIT Nagpur.
Placement wise preference order of branches:
Intelligent systems, IIITA > CSE, VNIT Nagpur > Advanced computing, NIT Bhopal > Information security, NIT Bhopal > Human computer interaction, IIITA > Cyber Law IIITA > Software Engineering IIITA > Wireless communication IIITA
Hope it helps!

Hope this helps.
Dear aspirant,
IIIT Kalyani is comparatively a new college and having no position in NIRF ranking as well. Whereas Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is older comparatively and has ranked 27 in NIRF ranking which is undoubtedly in a good position. In term of placement VNIT is far better, as only one or two batches have passed from IIIT Kalyani it's hard to say about placement. If you can get admission in VNIT, it's undoubtedly a better choice than IIIT, Kalyani as of now.
Hope it would be helpful.
