Generally No. In Government Sector and PSUs, the minimum educational qualification for becoming Junior Engineer/ Sub Engineer is Diploma or Degree in related branch of engineering. However, sometimes, in Private Sector can appoint experienced or fresh ITI holders (CTS holders) as Junior Engineers because they make their own rules and regulations for the recruitment of staff but chances are very low.
