I've got 90k rank in kcet for engineering (very embarrassing). Will I be able to get engineering seat in an average college or should I opt for a 3 year degree course? I am very confused. It'd be great if anyone could help. Thanks!
Sanjana, first off it is not embarassing. Sometimes you might not be able to transfer the knowledge you have on the exam paper. We do not have 2019 cut offs but the official website has updated 2017 cut offs data. You haven't mentioned your Category but with a rank of 90,000 if we have to go by 2017 data, unfortunately, a seat is not possible. You can check the cut offs list at the official website. http://kea.kar.nic.in/cutoff/engg_cutoff_2017.pdf Though this is 2017 data, cut offs change every year. And since 2017, there have been new Colleges that might have been added. And if you belong to a Reserved Category, you do still stand a chance. So do not give up yet. It might be tad difficult if you belong to General Category. But what we would suggest is to wait atleast until Extended round to check the trends of the cut offs of each College.
