I've got around 9500 rank... So does that mean that I've got this rank competing with overall 60000 fellowmates?Or is this shift based rank?

For example, if 1,00,000 candidates appeared for the entrance examination then you secured 9500 rank among them or you are the 9500th candidate in that entrance examination.
