The partial drop is a scenario in which you take admission in any college available and study for JEE exam on your own. It depends on your determination and goal whether you should take a partial drop, complete drop or no drop at all. It is very tough to manage both things as you have to pay most of the attention in JEE preparation with enough time to your college. There is no rule for a partial drop, you take admission in any college and prepare for JEE exam.
