Hello Aspirant,

For JEE-Main 2022 application form your SC certificate should be issued on or after January 1st 2022, so if it is the case then you can definitely upload the same certificate otherwise you have to get the new one issued and then you should upload it in JEE-Main 2022 application form.

If you want to appear for JEE-Advance 2022 after qualifying JEE-Main 2022 then don't apply for new SC certificate right now because as per the information brochure of JEE-Advance 2022 the certificate should be issued on or after April 1st 2022 so if you get it issued now then you would require new one for JEE-Advance as well. So what you can do for now is, for JEE-Main 2022 application there is a self undertaking which you can upload in the JEE-Main application form in lieu of the category certificate which declares that you will submit the original and valid caste certificate later on at the time of admission. And then after April 1st 2022 you can apply for new SC certificate and suppose if you do not get it by the time of JEE-Advance examination then in JEE-Advance application form also you can do the same thing because for that also there will be self undertaking so you can use that.

And if you are only aiming for JEE-Main then you can go ahead and get your new SC certificate issued now because JEE-Main 2022 application has started now and will continues till March 31st 2022 or you can upload self undertaking in lieu of caste certificate and then you can submit your new caste certificate at the time of admission.
