You can surely attempt Jeemain for all colleges however you cannot be eligible for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs as Minimum 75%aggregate marks in 12th is must from recognised University under General category and for Sc /ST category criteria been relaxed to 65%.

However studnets can also be in top20 percentile of the board to b eligible for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.



For all other colleges you can surely appear for Jee Mains.

Yes. Why not.

Definitely you can attempt JEE Mains with 58% in 10+2 board examination. However, you are not eligible for JEE Advanced. You can only go for NITs through JEE Mains that too, only if you obtain decent rank in JEE Mains.

So prepare well.
