Hello,
Basically JEE mains have 2 papers one is for B.Tech/ B.E students and other one is for B.Arch and B.Plan students.
Paper 1 has Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for total 300 marks, each subject having max. of 100 marks for given 30 Questions out of which 20 are MCQs and 10 are numerical answer type (NAT) out of these 10 NAT 5 are compulsory to answer this implies to all 3 subjects (Out of 90 questions 75 questions are to be answered ).
Paper 2 has MAD (Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing) total 82 questions out of which 20 are MCQs, 5 are NAT, 50 are Aptitude MCQs and 2 questions are evaluated for drawing.
MAP (Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning Test) total 100 questions out of which 20 are MCQs, 5 are NAT, 50 are Aptitude MCQs and 50 are Planning test MCQs.
Paper 2 is for max. of 400 marks.
And note that for each correct answer you gain 4 marks and for wrong answer you loose 1 mark.
