Joint Seat Allocation Authority(JoSAA) is a process of counseling and seat allotment which will be online mode. It conducts two mock rounds which is followed by seven rounds of counseling.
Admissions of NITs,IIITs and GFTIs is through josaa counseling that based on the JEE Main score. And the state counseling is conducted by its state authority.

Josaa that means joint seat allocation authority which is governed by Human Resource Development of government of India deals with the seat allocation of its territory of 107 institutes for admission.
The process of counselling and method is to confirm one candidates name, nationality ,state codeof eligibility and residential address.in time of form fill up process on online method.
Then to upload all these document in a confirmway and to pay the fees on online method
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will soon start the JoSAA counselling on their official website. Registration needs to be completed by 15th October. The seat allotments will be done through JoSAA counselling in six rounds on the basis of merit ordered ranks in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
