It's good if you are that much enthusiastic that you to write CAT exam after your 12 grade but I'm afraid that IIM CAT does not allowed you to do that as graduation is required for taking admission in IIM's, if you are preparing so that you can crack it after your graduation so it is a very good thing and you are good to go.

Yes you can prepare for CAT after 12th but according to me you should first complete your graduation. This will really help you a lot.

Hii Ankit,I am not demotivating you but I am just saying for your betterment that for cat you should have a graduation degree, without it you can't appear for the exam,you can prepare for cat while doing your graduation,so that as soon as your graduation will be completed you can appear for the exam.
