Well, the underlying concept of vectors is same in both math and physics. However, when speaking of Math and Physics as two streams then there is a difference in the way vectors are used. In mathematics you study vectors in linear algebra where components of vectors are represented in the form of a linear equation. You don't draw the physical interpretation of vectors in math and it remains mostly abstract in nature.
However in physics vectors are used to illustrate some physical quantities that has magnitude and direction in physical world. That means, 3D and 2D world. It is comparitevly complex analysis of vectors than in Math.
