Dear Aspirant,

Basic eligibility to become an IAS officer is to be a graduate in any field. Candidates must have completed 21 years to apply.

For becoming an IAS officer, you will have to clear the UPSC Examination.

Exam stages -

  • Preliminary - Objective pen and paper-based exam
  • Mains - Written exam with subjective questions
  • Personality Test - Interview

subjects like geography, anthropology, public administration or history are very important in this exam. so if you are humanities student you already knows these subjects.
