Hello Rini,
University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professor and awarding Junior Research Fellowship Programme (JRF).
Candidates should have  Master's degree to be eligible to apply for the exam.
There will be two papers. Paper-I will have 50 questions of objective nature. It will assess the candidates of their teaching ability and research aptitude and Paper-I will carry 100 marks.
Paper 2 will consist of 100 questions based on the subjects selected by the candidate.
