LPU is not approved by AICTE, is diploma /polytechnic course valid from this University

According to the Supreme Court, AICTE approval is required only when the course is being run by an institute. Lovely Professional University is recognized by many Accreditation councils of India & thoroughly recognized by UGC in 2006.

AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgement CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY & ANR. V/S ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION & ORS, and various other cases.
