Bachelor of Library Science is a one-year undergraduate degree programme for students who want to work in the library science field. It is concerned with the administration and upkeep of the library's numerous resources.B.Lib.Sc. is a two-semester, one-year undergraduate degree programme that provides knowledge on the administration and organisation of the library's numerous resources via both theoretical and practical sessions. Students will learn about the numerous Library Science resources.

Eligibility Criteria:

A bachelor's degree from a recognised college or institution is required.

Must have received a minimum of 50% in the B.A./B.Sc/B.Com or equivalent exam from any institute or university.

Must have received a cumulative grade point average of 45 percent in B.A./B.Sc/B.Com and a minimum of 50 percent in M.A./M.Sc/M.Com from any institute or university.

B.Lib.Sc or Bachelor of Library Science is an one year undergraduate course in which the students are provided knowledge both in theoretical and practical sessions, for various purposes to manage resources in Libraries.

The eligibility criteria is stated below:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from any recognised institute or university.

  • Must have scored at least 50 percent marks in aggregate in B.A / B.Sc / B.Com or its equivalent exam from any institute or university.
