ADMISSIONS
Admissions to UG and Integrated courses are done on basis of marks acquired by a candidate in 10+2 or equivalent (in relevant field) and required Entrance exam. Whereas, admissions to B.Com. Program, Diploma and Certificate courses are Merit based.
CBSE – Minimum 50% marks
PU UGLAW Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for LLB and Integrated LLB).
PU-CET Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for B.Pharm. and B.Sc. (Hons.)).
PULEET Entrance Exam – Valid Score (for B.E. and B.Tech.).
Final Selection to the programs is based on the allocation of seats through Counselling conducted by Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh.
PLACEMENT
Panjab University offers Placements to all candidates through their central placement cell. The Placement Cell of the university endeavors to offer training & placement services to the students. The students are worth placed in consultancies, Think Tanks, Research Institutes besides Academics and Civil Services. The university has got so many tie-ups with many reputed and renowned firms as well as companies for providing maximum placement and training opportunities to its students so that they grow well right from their first job.

Considering your rank in the final combined list is 498 you seem to have no chance for admission in UILS Chandigarh if you belong to the general category. Your chances in regional centres is good. Chances are good for both regional centres.
There are 120 seats each for BALLB and BCOM LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself. Hebce you have fair chances in Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.
