Mam/Sir,I have got 3399 Rank in SRMJEEE,During my application process I had given Mechanical as my 1st preference and CSE as my 2nd preference,Now I have got mechanical as I had given that as my 1st preference,will I get CSE for this rank,Can I change it now,Please help.

Hello,

It is difficult to predict the cut off now because cut off depends on total number of candidates applied, number of seats available, marks obtained in class 12, JEE Main/SAT. You have secured a decent rank you might get seat in CSE if you belong to reserved category and if there are vacant seats in round 2. You can submit your willingness as 'Accept and Upgrade' so that you can participate in round 2 of counselling and branch sliding is possible but within the same campus. It is to be noted that campus sliding is not possible, if you have the required cut off and vacant seats available then you may have chances of getting seat in CSE.
